After 2.5 years in the making the new Andrew Leach record is finally out! Big thanks to his family especially Jerry for helping to finish it. Amazing studio musicians played on this, most notably the incredible Tony Breit on piano and bass, the amazing Portland artist Zyanna on vocals, and Andrew Silva did some amazing guitar tracks. I’m so proud of this thing, I just wish Andrew could have heard it…..

Andrew and Mr. Blue
The Mr. Blue EP from Andrew Leach is up on the site and live! A collection of 3 songs from the Joshua Tree session that I thought were best just left alone, just Andrew and his Uke performing live. This release is the first actual studio recoding that 525 has done, all previous releases were archives or old studio recordings. Mr. Blue is the first new studio recorded release and I only wish Andrew was still around to hear it on streaming platforms when it goes live on January 25th. Check it out!
Andrew Leach has passed away. I still can’t believe it. He was a great dude and an amazing artist. We were very close to finishing his new record, the first actual studio release, not an archival one, on 525 Records. We will all miss him greatly and I have no words to describe the shock and sadness of this moment.
Less Cash is finally going into the studio to record a full length album. It should be out by the fall of 2024.

The Vrbs from San Jose, CA who just released a new double record last month, and The Smokes from Portland, OR who recently released both of their classic records from the early 2000’s onto streaming platforms. We couldn’t be happier to welcome both of these amazing artists into the 525 records roster!

In 2014 Less Cash went in to SweatBox studios to record the album Scenery with Engineer Mike Vasquez. It turned out amazing, especially the songs “Scenery” and my personal favorite “Ghost”.
For the last 7 years, the album which was never officially mastered, sat up on bandcamp for the die hard fans. It’s my pleasure to announce 525 Records has finally remastered it here at The Tone Factory in Las Vegas, with Johnny Gibson. It’s now ready for streaming and starting to go live this week on Apple Music and all the other services everyone loves.
To promote the remastered and ready for streaming release of the album, 525 Records shot a music video for the title track to the album “Scenery” which is up on the You Tube channel now. Check it out!
After 4 long years, the documentary about the last days of the 525 studio is finished and up on the you tube channel. Featuring music recorded during the last month or so at the house, using only a single room mic.
